Today was a good day. I woke up next to the most gorgeous face this morning...and my heart is still beating. Long night talks and beers. Had a really in depth conversation as well.
A lot of people ask me how I remain so intimate with a friend after this length of time. It's simple. When you care about someone enough all the flaws don't matter. What they do doesn't matter. At the end of the day, me loving someone down to the core is completely enough. Truth is, we are two damaged and torn souls from our past. I wish more people would understand the type of friendship we do have.
We talked about broken hearts, what we like in a person, how we've made mistakes, what our beliefs are.
Things are getting so much better.
